GATE 2012 Syllabus

Since last year I started writing GATE preparation guides and this is a part of GATE 2012 preparation guide. Few thing in some exams won’t change frequently like syllabus, marking system and rules, that why you can refer to old posts related to these too.

The reason for this post is to help students with gate syllabus 2012 and notify the changes, if any, given by the GATE 2012 organizing institute. We will update this post if there are changes declared by the organizing institute. As of now there is no news of anychage.

@SMRUTI. . . . You should complete your b.tech with MECHANICAL/AEROSPACE engineering. . Then apply for D.R.D.O. .. If you want to go for I.S.R.O. then you must do M.tech with respective field. .

How long is the GATE score valid? Is it for two years or 1 year? If I write it in 2012 will I be able to apply it in 2013? Thanks in advance

sir i’m praveen. sir my be aggregate is very poor.so it is necessary to do mtech.so which notes i can prepare for gate. because gate is only the last chance to overcome my worst position.so where i can take coaching. please update me please please….

I m an electrical engineer but I wish to apply for Mtech in Electronics Communication. So Can I aaply for it or is it Compulsory to do Mtech in my Branch. If i can choose Electronics communication then only Gate score is sufficient to get admission?
