If you look at my series of posts on Engineering courses prospects and future, I clearly mentioned the scope of every engineering course with core companies (what they need and look for) and also mentioned that every engineering filed have good opportunities provided you work hard and be sincere towards the subject you chose. Apart from this I would like to recommend that the courses for the girls can be in the below priority (my opinion).
Engineering Course for Girls (My order of preference)
- Computer Science and IT
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Biotech or Bioengineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering

All the above courses have both teaching, lab experiments and job are within the building and you don’t need to go out for educational reasons or any other specific requirements like Labs or Field works. Whereas other engineering course like Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering, even if you get an in-house job, for these graduation one need to go out to work outside without thinking about weather and environment. For the above said courses you get ample and well paid opportunities in teaching as well as research and Industry, which usually girls prefer.
