SVNIT Surat M.Tech Admission 2011

SV NIT Surat invites application for admission to M.Tech (master of engineering) degree in departments of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. There are different specializations offered by these departments, for details visit official website.

Eligibility for Admission:
B.E./ B. Tech / B. Arch.* or equivalent degree in respective discipline with minimum of 50% aggregate (all semesters/years) marks or (CGPA 5.5) and A valid GATE score. Preference will be given to ‘better’ Score.
The admission will be given based on common merit list prepared as per following criteria for each basic discipline offering PG programmes.
100% weightage to GATE score.
The seat will be allotted based on merit of GATE Score and preference of Specialization given by the candidates.

Last Date for receipt of completed application form: 31.05.2011
Date of counseling GATE qualified candidates: 20.06.2011
Date of counseling/Test of eligible NON-GATE / Sponsored candidates: 30.06.2011
Declaration of results for GATE candidates: 21.06.2011
Declaration of results for Non GATE candidates: 01.07.0211
