NIT Ranking 2015 is the result of last one year effort we spent on collecting data and analyzing is based on different discrete parameters. The such as JoSAA cutoff for B.Tech and CCMT Cutoffs for M.Tech admissions in NITs.
To rank IITs we first analyzed JoSAA data for highest student quality entered in any NITs in all the departments followed GATE cutoff data using CCMT 2015 cutoffs. The result was very clear based on core numbers and stats of last rank and GATE score admitted to various departments in NITs. There are few new NITs established around 2010 for them I will be making another post by taking other factors such as faculty, courses offered and infrastructure and facilities available to students. I strongly consider that all old NITs have great infrastructure.

Delhi and Goa ranked higher because of their location, many top students from north and south preferred these NITs over old NITs and different states. I am looking forward to 2016 admissions to see where NIT Andhra Pradesh will reach in NIT ranking.
