National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra or NIT Kurukshetra was established 1963 atcity of Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus is spread over an area of 300 acres with good infrastructure to support students.

Eligibility:
B.E./B.Tech,/B.Sc.(Engg.)/B.Arch degrees appropriate for the department applying for.
A candidate should have at least 60% marks (or 6.67 CGPA on 10 point scale) in qualifying examination such as B.Sc.(Engg.)/B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc.Degree Examination 50% marks or 5.56 CGPA for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes Candidates) on the basis of which the admission is being sought. For AMIE, the minimum requirement shall be 55% marks in degree.
A merit list of the eligible candidates will be drawn on the basis of their valid GATE score only (i.e. 100% weightage to GATE score and no weightage to qualifying degree marks).
Provisional admission in M.Tech. is allowed for those students having valid Gate Score and
B.Tech./BE 7th Semester result. But all the requirements should be fulfilled before 15th September, 2009.

Last date for submission of completed Application form: 12th June, 2009 till 5.00 PM.
All the candidates should report to the Institute reception at 9.00 AM on 29th June, 2009.
No separate letter will be issued for attending the interview.
