NIT Jamshedpur invites applications for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Matrials Engineering, Producation and Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemistry Department.
Eligibility for admission:
Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Engineering degree or its equivalent in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from a recognized University.
A candidate having degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production & Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering & Management / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering may be considered for admission in Production & Industrial Engineering Branch.
Candidates with M. Sc. in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics at B. Sc. Level or M. Sc. in physics with Chemistry and Mathematics at B. Sc. level or degree in Chemical / Mechanical /Metallurgical Engineering are eligible for admission to M. Tech. in Surface Science & Engineering.
Candidates appearing in 2010 examination of the qualifying degree can also apply but they will have to produce the result latest by 30.09.2010.
Interview for M. Tech. Admission will be held on 14.07.2010 at 10:00 AM in respective department. No separate interview letter will be issued for this. Candidates applied for admission are required to appear in the interview. No TA/DA is admissible for attending interview. The candidate must produce valid GATE Score Card in original (wherever applicable) at the time of interview.
