JAC Chandigarh 2024 offers admission in B.E. & B. Arch. courses to the candidate on the basis of JEE Main All India Rank 2023 and the aggregate scored in class 12th or equivalent exam.

Candidates must be aware of the JAC Chandigarh counselling 2024 and the Important date. The JAC Chandigarh Counselling procedure will take place in three rounds which are Choice Filling, Mock Counselling, Locking and Printing of the choice, and in addition the Spot Round.
JAC Chandigarh 2024 counselling process involves registration, application correction, choice filling, mock counselling, and seat allotment process. Candidates who are satisfied with their JAC Chandigarh 2024 seat allotment can make the payment of the acceptance fee and those who are not satisfied can choose for up-gradation to participate in further rounds of JAC Chandigarh Counselling.

JAC Chandigarh counselling 2024 document verification, candidates have to bring their original certificate as proof along with two to three photocopies. Candidates can check their JAC Chandigarh seat allotment results on the official website by submitting their registered credentials. JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024 follow the steps below
JAC Chandigarh Counselling Processes
Step 1: Authentication of JEE Main details:
Filling of Online Registration Form followed by payment of Registration Fee by eligible candidates will be allowed at the beginning of the admission process, Eligible candidates will authenticate themselves by providing the following four parameters
- JEE Main 2024 Application Number:
- Candidate’s Name:
- Mother’s Name:
- Date of Birth:
After successful authentication, the candidate will create his/ her login credentials [JEE Main Application No. shall be the login id, and the candidate should create a password] and provide contact information (i.e., Email id and Mobile number)
Step 2: JAC Chandigarh Enter registration information
All candidates are required to fill the Online Registration Form. During Form filling, candidates are required to furnish the following information and upload the relevant documents
- Category (General, General-EWS, BC, SC, ST).
- Sub-categories as appearing on the registration form.
- Total marks obtained in various subjects of the qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2 examination) as per the eligibility criteria mentioned and the maximum marks.
- Place of the school from where the candidate has appeared for the qualifying examination (Chandigarh/ Outside Chandigarh)
Step 3: JAC Chandigarh Payment of Registration-cum-Counselling Fee
Only those candidates who have registered online and have made payments of Registration Fee are eligible for choice filling. After successful submission of the registration form, the candidates are required to pay one-time Registration Fee (Non-Refundable) through Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet banking/e-Challan.
Step 4: Document Upload and online verification
- Candidates are required to upload one set of self-attested photocopies of all supporting documents/certificates during online registration.
- After document verification, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes. Failure to upload the supporting document of a particular category will debar the candidate for that particular category. All the certificates/affidavits claiming reservations under various categories must have been issued.
- All the certificates/affidavit(s) claiming reservation under various categories before the first round of counselling must have been issued not later than October 5 and for claiming reservation under various categories for JAC Chandigarh Spot Round of Counselling.
Step 5: Online choice filling
- All registered candidates are required to submit their choices of Institute and Branch in order of their preference.
- Candidates are required to submit single set of combined choices for Engineering & Architecture streams, if they are eligible for both the streams.
- Choice filling is OPTIONAL for those candidates who are eligible only for Architecture as per JEE (Main)-2024. Only one choice of Architecture in CCA will be considered automatically after successful registration.
- Candidates can fill in as many numbers of choices in the order of preference as they wish to, from the list of available choices.
- Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final set of choices.

Do I need to register myself separately for all rounds of JAC Chandigarh Counselling?
No, till 3rd round counseling candidates don’t have to do any separate registration. Registration will start in September
Do I need to apply separately for Engineering and Architecture courses in JAC Chandigarh Counselling?
Yes, a Candidate applying for both Engineering and Architecture courses is required to register twice. For the first time he/she will register for seeking admission in Engineering Courses and the second time he/she will register for seeking admission in B.Arch.
If I take admission in JAC Chandigarh Counselling first and do not pay fees at the allotted institute, will I still be eligible for the next round of counselling?
The allotted seat will be cancelled automatically and you will not be considered for subsequent rounds of counseling except the SPOT Round of counseling after paying the participation fee of ₹ 40,000/-.
Can I change my choices after the JAC Chandigarh Counselling first round?
Yes, candidates can modify their choices after 1st round of counselling. Otherwise, choices submitted for 1st round will be considered for 2nd and 3rd rounds of seat allotment.
