IIT Palakkad M.Tech Admission: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad offers M.Tech admission for the academic year for the various M.Tech programs through their GATE qualified candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology approved by AICTE/ Government of India. The application form for M.Tech Admission starts in March.

Four-semester M.Tech Programs are offered in six specializations at IIT Palakkad. They are based on the credit system and provide a student with a wide choice of courses.

IIT Palakkad M.Tech admission will only be on the basis of GATE score. Students seeking admission in M.Tech course at IIT Palakkad have to fill out the online application form and register for Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Seats are allotted through COAP on the basis of scores in GATE in the order of merit.
Shortlisted candidates will call for interview rounds conducted at IIT Palakkad campus. The final selection will be done through the overall performance of the candidates as well as Institute may conduct a suitability test/ interview.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/ Government of India

- Log in with your email username and password
- Fill personal details
- Fill in the qualification details. (if you have multiple qualifications, please fill it one by one.)
- Fill in GATE details. (if you have multiple GATE, please fill it one by one.)
- Apply for the course, You can choose the existing GATE and Qualification details while applying for the course.
- Upload the required documents.
- Verify the data in the profile using View Profile and if everything looks proper please do the final submission.

- Download the application after successful payment.
