IIT Kanpur M.Tech Admission Eligibility criteria
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (4-year programme) or a master’s degree in science with marks/CPI not below the specified minimum.
- A valid GATE score is required for admission to the M.Tech programme in the case of regular (non-sponsored) candidates.
- The requirement of GATE score is waived off for the candidates with the B Tech/BS (Four Year) degree from IITs with a minimum overall CPI of 6.5 and a minimum CPI of 8.0 in the last two years in B Tech/BS (Four Year)
IIT Kanpur M.Tech Admission Application Process
- Candidates must register at the COAP portal for viewing and accept their offers. COAP Registration number is mandatory for applying at the IIT Kanpur Admission Portal.
- Candidates who have not qualified GATE will be communicated directly to the candidates by the department via E-mail.
- The online applications portal (for Indian Nationals only) will be available from 16/03/2020 (01:00 PM) up to 07/04/2020 (11:59 PM).
- The separate application form is to be filled out for each programme.
IIT Kanpur M.Tech Application Fee
The application fee is Rs.500 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates and Rs.250 for SC/ST and all DAP candidates (including General, EWS, and OBC)
IIT Kanpur M.Tech Application Process
The candidate has to apply online from IIT Kanpur website. After filling in the details an application number will be generated. you will be able to generate your online application print with your specific details/data. This application print may be retained with you for future requirements. Payment of Fees is mandatory, Submit a separate application for each program.
