HSTES B.Tech Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who want to apply for HSTES B.Tech Admission in Haryana need to fulfill the eligibility criteria set up by the institute and government of Haryana. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility will be considered for admission. Haryana B.Tech eligibility criteria 2022 is as follows
- Candidates must be an Indian national and a bonafide resident of Haryana
- Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam from recognized Board or University
- Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in their class 12 exam
- Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with anyone among Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
- Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Biotechnology must have Physics and Mathematics or Biology as a compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subject (Chemistry / Bio-Tech / Computer Science)
- Candiadtes who Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)
HSTES B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2023
- Candidates must be an Indian national and a bonafide resident of Haryana
- Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam from recognized Board or University
- Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in their class 12 exam
- Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one among
- Candidate must passed Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject
- Candidate who have qualified the aptitude test (NATA-2022) conducted by COA with a pass percentage in the 10+2 scheme of examination with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics
Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST), Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) seats in B.E./B.Tech. courses
- Kashmiri Migrants seats (5% of the sanctioned intake of each course) for B.E. /B. Tech. will be supernumerary seats and will be filled separately on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination. The percentage shall be calculated on the basis of Marks of Maths, Physics, English and any one of the following (whichever is highest) Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies.
- Kashmiri Migrants will be required to have the original certificate of Migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief commissioner.
Tie-breaking criteria
The criteria as mentioned below will be followed to break up the tie (in the case of KM for B.E./B. Tech except for Bio-Technology)
- The candidates who have secured higher marks in Mathematics shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If tie still persists, the candidates who have secured higher marks in Physics shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If tie still persists, the candidates who have secured higher marks in Chemistry/Bio-Tech/Computer Sci./Biology (as the case may be) shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If tie still persists, the candidate who is senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If tie still persists, the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order (in English as mentioned in qualifying examination mark sheet) shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If tie still persists, the Father’s Name of the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order (in English as mentioned in qualifying examination mark sheet) shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If tie still persists, the Mother’s Name of the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order (in English as mentioned in qualifying examination mark sheet) shall rank higher in order of merit
