Admission into HSTES B.E/B.Tech for the candidates under the Kashmiri Migrants category and HGST category shall be made on the basis of inter se-merit of the percentage of qualifying exams through two online off-campus counseling.

HSTES B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

HSTES B.Tech Admission Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who want to apply for HSTES B.Tech Admission in Haryana need to fulfill the eligibility criteria set up by the institute and government of Haryana. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility will be considered for admission. Haryana B.Tech eligibility criteria are as follows

• Candidates must be Indian nationals and bonafide residents of Haryana
• Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam from a recognized Board or University
• Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in their class 12 exam
• Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with anyone in Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
• Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Biotechnology must have Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subject (Chemistry / Bio-Tech / Computer Science)
• Candidates who Passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

HSTES B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be an Indian nationals and a bonafide resident of Haryana
• Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam from recognized Board or University
• Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in their class 12 exam
• Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one among
• Candidate must passed Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject
• Candidates who have qualified for the aptitude test (NATA-2022) conducted by COA with a pass percentage in the 10+2 scheme of examination with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics

Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST), Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) seats in B.E./B.Tech. courses

• Kashmiri Migrants seats (5% of the sanctioned intake of each course) for B.E. /B. Tech. will be supernumerary seats and will be filled separately on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination. The percentage shall be calculated on the basis of Marks of Maths, Physics, English and any one of the following (whichever is highest) Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies.
• Kashmiri Migrants will be required to have the original certificate of Migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief commissioner.

Tie-breaking criteria

The criteria mentioned below will be followed to break up the tie (in the case of KM for B.E./B. Tech except for Bio-Technology)

• The candidates who have secured higher marks in Mathematics shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If a tie still persists, the candidates who have secured higher marks in Physics shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If tie still persists, the candidates who have secured higher marks in Chemistry/Bio-Tech/Computer Sci./Biology (as the case may be) shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If tie still persists, the candidate who is senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If tie still persists, the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order (in English as mentioned in qualifying examination mark sheet) shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If tie still persists, the Father’s Name of the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order (in English as mentioned in qualifying examination mark sheet) shall rank higher in order of merit.
• If tie still persists, the Mother’s Name of the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order (in English as mentioned in qualifying examination mark sheet) shall rank higher in order of merit.

Documents Required to Fill HSTES B.Tech Application Form

In order to apply for admission, aspirants need to fill the Haryana B.Tech Online Form. Before filling, out the online application candidates must go through the eligibility and fill out the application form. Follow the steps to fill out the HSTES B.Tech Online Application Form.

1. Step – Online Registration: Applicants can register online on HSTES site
2. Step – Filling of Personal and Academic details: Applicants can start filling the form with their personal details

   Caste Category (Gen/OBC/SC/ST)
   Domicile certificate
   PwD certificate (if applicable)
   The percentage obtained in the qualifying examination

   After filling in all the details, click on the “Continue” button to proceed to the next stage.
   Step – Filling of Academic details: The candidate has to fill in academic details in the application form
3. Step – Submission of Application Form & Choice filling
   Once the aspirants fill out the application form, he/she needs to click on the “Continue” Button
   Applicants can make changes to the details written in the application form of Haryana B.Tech before clicking on the “Continue” button
   Now candidates need to re-login and select the choice of courses and institutes as per their preference
   The authority advises applicants to fill in a maximum number of choices
   After all this, aspirants need to submit the form along with an application fee

Candidates need to make the payment of the fee, which remains the same for all categories and is non-refundable. The candidates can pay via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or E-Challan.
