In two days I received thousands of mails from my regular readers. Almost everyone is asking the same question and I feel so helpless for not being able to answer them individually. Therefore I decided to conduct a survey of all readers for GATE result analysis 2011. You must be thinking how this survey would help students looking for M.Tech students? The answer is we get an analysis of each and every branch and I will be posting total number of seats in IITs soon.
When we combine all the information at least we can clearly sort out the students going to IITs and remaining students have fair chance to get into NITs and other universities. I hope finally we would be able to answer to the very famous question where will I get M.Tech admissions with XYZ marks. I am unbearably painful to see so many mails and not able to respond to them. I ask for special forgiveness from my regular readers to be not able to respond to them. On the same time I would definitely give an analysis and admission college information during the coming weekend, if I dont get suffitient entries I will have to wait for some more time. My total analysis will depend on your contribution and participation.
Please do not hesitate to fill in the survey. It will help you and next coming batches with GATE preparation and M.Tech admissions. It will also help to make a list of colleges for certain score and marks during this year and in coming years.

also one thing come to my knowledge is that some of 99 percentiler’s go for teaching in coaching institute and some in colleges………so keeping these factors in mind what do u suggest for upto 4000 ranker’s in Mechanical branch to which colleges they should apply for……..
sir i’m from mechanical branch,give gate 2011 and scored 45.33/100 and 471 is my gate score and finally 3796 is the rank. with this can i get ms research program of iit’s and some of nit’s or if any core course in mechanical ………………..
there are rumours that around 150 candidates will be selected in INDIAN OIL,some in BHEL, NTPC,BPCL,HPCL and some of the high rankers go for IES exam and give gate as for practice and most students may be in 3rd year of their degree ………….so keeping these possibilities what are the chances of admission upto 4000 ranker’s in iit’s or nit’s……..what other colleges do you suggest for me to go for……..

Let me come to my results:
I secured AIR 522, Score 480, Percentile 95.98, Marks 39.67 in the CHEMICAL stream(GENERAL/OC QUOTA).. Let me know if i could get MS/M.Tech at IIT’S.The paper appeared to be very easy for me. But , since am in third year i dont wanted to take risk by answering many questions. I still have one more yr and am aiming for IISC direct admission in GATE 2012.

I am a regular reader of u. I don’t know who are u but I like your words. It’s always make me feel good. I did not give my best in GATE 2011 and not qualified in this year. I am the final year student in biotechnology. But I have previous year gate score, 2500, it’s not good but I have no other choice. I will have to take admission in this year. Plz suggest where I can go for M-Tech biotechnology.
