DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admissions 2023 are administered by the Maharashtra Government’s Higher and Technical Education Department based on class 10th merit. In Maharashtra.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission process every year to provide admission to the candidates in 3 years’ engineering diploma program. The eligible candidates will be provided admission to the participating institutions based on their rank and availability of the seats.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2023 Eligibility

Diploma    in Engineering and Technology(A) First Year of Post SSC
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination
or  its  equivalent,  with  at  least  35% aggregate marks
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for the Institute quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.
(i) Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Rules.
(B) Direct Second Year of Post SSC
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.
(i)  The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed   10+2   examination   with   Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry / Computer Science/Electronics /Information Technology/ Biology / Informatics Practices/Biotechnology /Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics / Business Studies/Entrepreneurship (Any of the three).
OR
10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate Trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme.
(The Affiliating Body will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(C) Post HSC in Surface Coating Technology
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed  HSC  Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –
(i) Passed HSC Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Rules.
Diploma in Pharmacy(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
a. The Candidate should be an Indian National;
b. pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
OR
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.
a. pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
OR
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination
Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.
(i)  The Candidate should be an Indian National
(ii) Passed 10+2 /HSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.
(i) Passed 10+2 /HSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks

  • All India Candidature: The Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible under this Category.
  • Minority Candidature: Maharashtra domiciled Candidates belonging to a particular linguistic or religious minority community from within the State and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Merit List 2024

Candidates who fill the online application form in accordance with the Maharashtra polytechnic admission 2022 date will be allotted a merit number by the authorities based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie between two or more candidates, the following criteria shall be be followed

Tie Breaking Rule

  • Candidate with higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics at SSC will be preferred first
  • If the tie persists, then the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in the subject of Science at SSC shall be considered
  • After that, a candidate having a higher percentage of marks in the subject of English at SSC shall be preferred
  • If the tie remains, passing HSC in Science stream shall be considered
  • If the tie remains, passing HSC with Minimum Competency Vocational Course will be taken into account
  • Thereafter, candidate who passes ITI Trade of 2 Years duration will be preferred
  • At last, passing the Intermediate grade drawing examination will be the last option.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Counselling 2024

The Technical Diploma Educational Institution shall admit Candidates through the Centralized Admission Process.

  • Display or publishing of Information Brochure by the Competent Authority.
  • Filling Online Application Form by Candidate for participation in the Centralized Admission Process.
  • Uploading of scanned images of valid necessary original documents as per the requirement of the admission while filling of online application form.
  • Document Verification at Facilitation Centre by the Candidate through the method prescribed by the Competent Authority for this purpose. It is mandatory on the candidate’s part to produce all original documents in support of the claim made in the application form.
  • Display or publishing of provisional merit lists, submission of grievances (if any), through the method prescribed by the Competent Authority for this purpose and display or publishing of final merit lists
  • Display of Category-wise Seats (Seat Matrix) available for CAP Rounds. The competent authority shall publish the information on the website about institutes, courses offered, Sanctioned intake and number of seats available for each category before each round.
