VJTI M.Tech Admissions 2011

This notification is informed by Anisha Goel, Manoj Swami, Manoj, Kunal, Trupti Chavan, Amol , prashant and Harish Bari. We are Thankful to them.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) Mumbai invites applications for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Textile Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Eligibility for admission:
Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology, specified by the concerned University for admission to a particular Post graduate course from an AICTE approved 5 institutions, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Candidate should have a valid GATE score in relevant branch of Engg / Technology.

Admission Procedure:
Admissions will be effected according to Merit-List prepared on the basis of valid GATE score in the respective branch only. GATE score of one branch will not be valid for admission to another branch.

Application Fee: Rs 500/- (Rs. 300/- in case of reserved category)

Last date for submitting application forms: 15.06.2011
Display of merit list of VJTI website: 27.06.2011
M.Tech admission for GATE qualified candidates: 06.07.2011

    sir can you please give me the list of good colleges where i can do m tech in EC branch, since my gate score is just above the qualifying mark, i.e. 27(qualifying mark is 26.11) and gate score is 327

    ISM Counseling was extremely Disappointing for EC and CS Branch Students.
    ISM don’t deserve such GATE High Scorers more than 700 for CS branch.
    Candidates are not aware about selection of Institute according to their GATE SCORES.

    zahid sir i am in a dilemma. Whether doing a Mtech from vjti in elec and telcom will land me a job in core company or not? Currently i am working for software firm.

    This means for students with lower grades in graduation, COEP and VJTI are options….

    Sir can you please post good NITs or IITs who allow lower graduation grades like only 55% for Mechanical ??
