In this post I would like rank engineering colleges in hyderabad and its surruoundsings. All the rankings are based on EAMCET 2011 closing ranking of engineering colleges in Hyderabdad.
To make it more accurate I considered three departments’ (ECE, CSE and EEE) last ranks. In case of close context I also considered CIV and MECH. Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) Banjarahills is not added to list as it doesn’t participated in common counseling. Similarly, G Naraynamma Institute of Technology and Science is also missing as its exclusive for girls. These colleges come 15 and 25 respectively, if added with general ranking. These two colleges are among best colleges in AP but treated specially because of their status. IIIT Hyderabad and IIT Hyderabad are missing, because of admission procedures. I list of top Minority Engineering colleges will be added as soon as data is available.
Because of Telangana issue I think the admissions were very diverse and students prefered mostly colleges close to their homes.
