Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Viswavidyalaya (State Technological University of MP), (RGTU) Bhopal invites applications for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Biotechnology, Computer Science/Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Nanotechnology.
Eligibility for admission:
A Candidate seeking admission to M.E/M.tech should be a graduate in Engineering Technology with at least 55% marks, Whereas candidate seeking admission to M.Pharm course should be a graduate in Pharmacy at least 60% marks. Bachelors degree of minimum 4 year duration after passing higher secondary 12th of (10+2) system or equivalent, should have been obtained from any AICTE approved institute or Indian university or from a foreign university recognized by Association of Indian universities(AIU) or institute recognized by the AIU as equivalent thereto.
Eligible candidates shall be called written examination in the university campus on prescribed date and time. There shall be no written examination for the candidates having valid GATE score card.
Seats shall be first filled through GATE qualified candidates according to procedure, as listed above. However, if GATE qualified candidates are not available, and then the remaining vacant seats shall be filled through non GATE qualified candidates. In this case merit list (for each course) shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination (weightage 70%) and the marks secured in the written examination, which is to be condected by the University for the admission purpose (weightage 30%).
