NIT Calicut M.Tech Admissions 2009

NIT Calicut was established in the year 1961 by central government to promote technical education in the country. This is one among the top Engineering schools in India. The beautiful campus is spread over 120 acres near Kozikode.

Mechanical Engg. : Industrial Engineering & Management, Thermal Sciences, Manufacturing Technology, Energy Management.

Eligibility:

Candidates for admission to M.Tech. Degree Programme shall be required to have passed the four-year regular full time B.E./B.Tech. Degree with 60% marks (CGPA 6.5/10) in aggregate in the qualifying examination together with valid GATE SCORE and for SC/ST candidates 50% marks (CGPA 5.5/10) in aggregate with valid GATE SCORE in the Discipline/Branch given below. Candidates under lateral entry should have passed the three year diploma in engineering with first class and SC/ST candidate with second class.

Counselling/Admission for M.Tech. (GATE): 22 – 26 June 2009

Test/Interview/Admission for M.Tech. (sponsored): 29th June 2009

Orientation and Registration: 22-07-2009

Commencement of Classes: 23-07-2009
