National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET-PG) is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses.
No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Qualifying NEET-PG is mandatory for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country. NEET PG is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission in medical courses in India.

NEET PG 2024 Five Major Changes
NEET PG 2024 did Five Major Changes to the entrance exam
- NEET – PG Application Fee The NEET PG application fee has been increased from Rs. 3,750 to Rs 5,015 and for the SC/ST and PwD candidates from Rs 2,750 to Rs 3,835.
- NEET – PG Increase Exam Centers The examination centers for the NEET – PG have been increased from 165 to 255. To maintain social distancing inside the exam halls.
- NEET – PG Paper Pattern Change The total number of questions in the NEET – PG exam is 200 the previous year it was 300 questions in the NEET – PG 2024 paper. now the marks have been reduced from 1200 to 800. Now the total marks obtained in the NEET – PG 2024 exam is 800.
- NEET PG exam timings Change NEET – PG entrance exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. It was earlier scheduled between 3 pm to 7 pm
- NEET PG Criteria Changes The number of criteria impacting the NEET PG tie-breaking rule has been reduced from eight to four. In a situation where two or more candidates secure the same marks, the authorities will now only consider factors such as more number of correct responses, less number of negative responses, older candidates, and higher aggregate marks (in percentage)

Instructions to Fill Online NEET-PG 2024 Application Form
- Visit the official website NEET PG 2024
- Fill out the user registration form to generate a User ID/Application ID and
- Password.
- User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.
- Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scanned Signature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents
- Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee
- Agree to the declaration and Submit the Application
- Take a printout of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it for records
