JK Polytechnic (PET) Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for admission to Diploma in Polytechnic Courses must fulfill the following eligibility conditions, namely
- A candidate must:
- Be domiciled in either UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh, as the case may be;
- have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation or equivalent examination) from a recognized statutory Board for all the courses offered except Medical Lab. Technology for which the candidate must have passed 12th in the medical stream. The candidates appearing/appeared in the qualifying examination can also apply for admission.
- have obtained at least 35% marks in 10th /12th class in case of both open merit and reserved category candidates;
- There is no upper age limit for admission in polytechnic colleges.
JK Polytechnic (PET) Application Form
- The Application Form will be released by the authority of JK Polytechnic for eligible candidates only.
- Candidates will be able to fill out the application form from the 1st week of April 2026 through online mode.
- Candidates must fill out the application form very carefully as there won’t be any correction facility for the application form.
- The details filled by candidates must be authentic; any alteration in the details could cause rejection of the application form.
- The details like email ID and Phone No. must be correct and working, as all the communication will be done through them.
- Candidates must submit the application form before the 2nd week of May 2026. No application form will be accepted after that date.
- Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the filled application form and the fee receipt for future reference.
