IIT Rajasthan M.Tech Admissions 2011

This notification is informed by Nishant. Thanks a million to Nishant.

IIT Rajasthan invites applications to M.Tech programmes (Regular, full time) in (i) Centre of Excellence in Energy and (ii) Centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology for the academic year commencing from July 2011.

As other IITs there is no information about number seat available for each course. As IIT Rajasthan is a newly establish IIT there could be question about New IIT of old NITs, to look at my stand to join B.Tech in new IITs please refer to New IITs or old NITs. On the same time I have a different stand for M.Tech admissions. I am going to write about it soon.

Eligibility:
For GN/OBC: minimum 60% or CPI of 6.5/10 or CGPA of 2.6/4 or First class or equivalent
For SC/ST/PH: minimum 55% or CPI of 6/10 or a CGPA of 2.4/4
For ICT valid GATE* qualified Score in the disciplines CS/ EC/ EE/ ME/ PH/ IN/ MA / XE
For M.Tech in Energy valid GATE* qualified Score in the disciplines BT/ CE/ CH/ CY/ ME / IN / MT / MA / PH / XE

Application Fee: Rs. 300/- for Gen/OBC (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PD)

Last date for receipt of completed applications is: 20.04. 2011

    Sir i’ve tried many times but the iit rajasthan’s site is not opening…… i dont know why ? Kindly check it sir coz as u written d last date is 20th april…

    Total no. of seats are 20, out of which SC/ST, OBC, PH, GC, TC, AC…….. like that almost 10 to 11 seats gone from each specialization and left only 9 to 10 seats. Also nearly 4 to 5 branch students can apply a single specialization plus M.Sc Physics and other students can also apply for that. So, there may be max 2 to 3 seats for each branch……………………

    i cant imagine , why one of the fan of this site sayin that it is worth to go with new iit;s , take admission at your own risk , these new iits would take many years to develop , r u not aware of the dirty indian politics …

    its better to take admission nit’s rather than takin in new iit’s…..

    old nit’s are far better developed than these new iit’s n also new iit’s would take many years to establish like old iit’s.
