    Hi Zahid,

Big fan of your blog. Your contribution is immense to the students’ society.

I want some information on the Instrumentation courses in IISc. I have got 331 rank in Instrumentation in GATE-2012, GATE Score-546. I don’t know if I’ll be selected for interview but I’m filling IISc form anyway.

I have 3 courses which I can choose from
    1) Instrumentation
    2) System Sciences ad Automation
    3) Microelectronics.

Could you please let me know anything about these fields? What their placements ratio is and how much scope they have if I get a chance to do M.Tech in any of them?

If you do not have any info on Instrumentation, could you please guide me to someone who might know about these things?

    Thanks again.

  25. anjali

sir is there any cutoff marks required for iisc in gate??
if so than suppose our gate score is lower than cutoff, in that case is there any facility to apply for both by gate score as well as written test??
my gate 2012 score was 550 with 43.33 marks. so should i be eligable for admission??

  26. Janani

    Monika,

It is not necessary to submit your degree certificate. They would only require you semester marks and marksheets. You will have to give in the details of ur X XII and UG. Fields that are inappropriate can be left out if appropriate options are unavailable. The application however can’t be submitted until u receive ur GATE scorecard and the scores are entered.

    Vasanth,

If u are a B.E student and possess a valid GATE score, u need not write the IISC entrance test
