GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 – Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) to get admission to BE/B.Tech and Pharmacy course candidates have to attempt the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is conducted every year at the State Level.

Every year GUJCET invites applications for admission courses. Candidates who are eligible can apply for the available courses from the official website ACPC. The courses you can apply for are Engineering, Pharmacy, MBC, MCA, Diploma to Degree Engineering, Diploma to Degree Pharmacy, M.Arch, M.Plan, B.Arch.

GUJCET Eligibility Criteria Age Limit and Qualification

GUJCET Engineering Admission

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination Science Stream conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing and are eligible for appearing in the Examination of Std. XII Science Stream/candidates going to occur.
Candidates who have passed Std. XII Science Stream Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi through the recognized school situated in the State of Gujarat or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of Std. XII Science Stream through recognized school/candidates going to appear in examination of Std. XII Science Stream in the very year in which the candidates have filled in application form for Common Entrance Test.
Candidates who have passed Std. XII Science Stream examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi through the recognized school situated in the State of Gujarat or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of HSC Science Stream through recognized school/candidates going to appear in examination of HSC Science Stream in the very year in which the candidates have filled in application form for Common Entrance Test.
Candidates who are the heirs of the officers/employees who belong to the State of Gujarat but performing their duties in other States as the officers/ employees of Central/State Government, Military Forces or the Board/ Corporation governed by the Central/State Government, who have passed HSC/Science Stream examination conducted by the Higher Secondary Education Board situated in the State in which they are performing duties or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of HSC Science Stream or the candidates going to appear in examination of HSC Science Stream in the very year in which the candidates have filled in application form for Common Entrance Test.
Other candidates who are eligible to get admission in the said Courses as per the admission Rules framed from time to time by ‘Joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses’. Admission Building, L. D. College of Engineering Campus, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad-380015, who have passed Std. XII (10 + 2 Pattern) Science Stream examination or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing in the examination of Std. XII (10 + 2 Pattern) Science Stream or the candidates going to appear in the said examination.

GUJCET Degree Engineering Admission Online registration is mandatory to participate in the admission process.

GUJCET Degree Engineering Admission (B.E./B.Tech.) is to get admission in the first year of Engineering Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will conduct counseling for B.E and B.Tech admission in Gujarat. ACPC Engineering Admission will be done on the basis of GUJCET merit. ACPC will conduct counseling online.

95% seats of total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions and 50% of total sanctioned intake of unaided Institutions, A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned above from schools located in Gujarat state in line with other eligibility criteria from recognized board duly stated in admission rules, and shall have appeared in GUJCET examination.
5% seats of the total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions: A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned above from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) duly affiliated with any recognized board, and shall have appeared in JEE (Main) – examination.

GUJCET Eligibility

The candidate should be an Indian citizen and must have domicile in the Gujarat State
No age limit is specified for the candidates.
The candidate shall have passed HSC examination having a minimum of 45% (40% for reservation category) in any of three subjects of Mathematics /Biology /Chemistry / Computer Science /Information Technology / Electronics /Technical Vocational subjects from the valid board

GUJCET Engineering Minimum Qualification & Provision of Merit

Degree Engineering Branches / Courses	Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, BioMedical Engineering, Bio-Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Electrical And Electronics Engineering, Environment Engineering, Information Communication Technology, Food Technology, Instrumentation, and Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Textile Engineering
Minimum Qualification	The merit list will be prepared based on merit marks of the 50% weightage of theory percentile issued by the respective board in the subject of Mathematics or Biology along with Physics and Chemistry and 50% weightage of the percentile of the GUJCET examination in corresponding subjects.
95% seats of the sanctioned intake of Government and Grant-in aid institutions & 50% seats of the sanctioned intake of Unaided institutions	The merit list will be prepared based on the All India Rank declared by NTA, Delhi based on JEE (Main).
05% seats of the sanctioned intake of Government and Grant-in aid institutions	The merit list will be prepared based on the All India Rank declared by NTA, Delhi based on JEE (Main).

GUJCET Pharmacy Admission

Candidate shall have passed 12th (Science Stream) from a single board with three subjects with Physics and Chemistry as two compulsory subjects and a third subject as an optional subject from Mathematics Biotechnology or Biology as prescribed by the concerned board

95% seats of the total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions and 50% of the total sanctioned intake of unaided Institutions: A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned above from schools located in Gujarat state in line with other eligibility criteria from recognized board duly stated in admission rules, and shall have appeared in GUJCET – examination.
5% seats of total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions: A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned above from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) duly affiliated with any recognized board, and shall have appeared in JEE (Main) / NEET examination.

GUJCET Eligibility Pharmacy

The candidate should be an Indian citizen and must have domicile of the Gujarat State
No age limit is specified for the candidates.
The candidate shall have passed HSC examination having a minimum of 45% (40% for reservation category) with Physics and Chemistry as two compulsory subjects and third subject as an optional subject from Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology as prescribed by the concerned board

GUJCET B.Plan Admission

For the admission to the first year of Bachelor of Planning (4 years) in self financed institutes in Gujarat State on state quota of all institutions and management quota surrendered seats of all self-financed institutes, The government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web based offline admission process for the academic year.

GUJCET M.E / M.Tech/ M.Pharm Admission

ACPC M.E / M.Tech/ M.Pharm Admission in Government, Grant-in-aid and Self-financed institutes in Gujarat State, on state quota of all institutions and voluntarily surrendered Management quota seats by self-financed institutes, the Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web-based online admission process for the academic year.

GUJCET Eligibility M.E / M.Tech/ M.Pharm

The candidate shall have passed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates) at qualifying exam for M.E. / M. Tech courses or
B. Pharm with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/SEBC/ EWS candidates) at qualifying exam for M. Pharm courses for seeking admission into post Graduate
All GATE/GPAT qualified candidates, Non-GATE/Non-GPAT candidates, and all sponsored candidates shall have to register online to become eligible for further admission process

All GATE/GPAT qualified candidates, Non-GATE/Non-GPAT candidates, and all sponsored candidates shall have to register online to become eligible for further admission process.

After admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates having valid GATE/ GPAT qualifying marks, the vacant seats if any will be filled as per merit secured in PGCET.

All Non-GATE/Non-GPAT candidates including sponsored (Non- GATE/NonGPAT) shall have to appear in PGCET to become eligible for admission. However, GATE/GPAT qualified candidates have not appeared in PGCET

The sponsored seats shall be filled as per the Govt. of Gujarat Post Graduate Admission Rules, Guidelines, and AICTE Guidelines. No separate call letter will be issued for appearing in PGCET

GUJCET M.Arch Admission

Admission to the first year of Master of Architecture (M. Arch) in self-financed institutes in Gujarat State on the state quota of all institutions and management quota surrendered seats of all self-financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web-based offline admission process for the academic year.

GUJCET Eligibility M.Arch

The candidate shall have passed the Bachelor of Architecture degree program from a recognized University/Institution.
The candidate from the general category shall have passed above-mentioned degree program with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (minimum 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates)

GUJCET MBA/MCA Admission

For admission in the first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) on State quota seats which includes all sanctioned seats of Government & Grant-in-Aid Colleges, 50% seats of sanctioned intake & surrendered seats of management quota of unaided Colleges of Gujarat, the State Government has decided to carry out web based online admission process for the academic year.

Online registration through the internet is mandatory for eligible candidates to participate in the admission process.

GUJCET Eligibility MBA/MCA

The candidate shall have appeared in the CMAT examination conducted by NTA (prescribed by AICTE) and shall have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) for MBA and MCA courses.

95% seats of total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions and 50% of total sanctioned intake of unaided Institutions.
MBA: Candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned above from recognized institutes/ universities duly stated in admission rules. For further details, please refer notifications related to admission rules issued by the Government of Gujarat from time to time.
MCA: Candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Equivalent.
Degree or Passed B.Sc/B.Com/B.A. with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics at (10+2) level or at Graduation level (With Additional bridge courses as per norms of Concerned University) from recognized institutes/ universities duly stated in admission rules.
5% seats of total sanctioned intake of Government/Grant-in-Aid Institutions: A candidate shall have obtained minimum Qualification as mentioned from universities/institutes located in India (excluding Gujarat State) duly affiliated with any recognized university

GUJCET M.Plan Admission

For the admission to the first year of Master of Planning (M. Plan) in self-financed institutes in Gujarat State on state quota of all institutions and management quota surrendered seats of all self-financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web based offline admission process for the academic year.

GUJCET Eligibility M.Plan

The candidate shall have passed the below mentioned degree programs from a recognized University/Institution

Bachelor of Architecture (or) B.E./B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) (or) Bachelor of Planning (or) Post Graduation in Geography or Economics or Sociology
The candidate from the general category shall have passed any of the above-mentioned degree programs with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (minimum 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/SEBC/EWSs candidates)
