Applications are invited for Admissions to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree Programmes offered in the University Departments of Anna University Chennai, Anna
University Coimbatore, Anna University Trichy and Anna University Tirunelveli, Government, Government Aided institutions, and seats surrendered by the Self
Financing Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2010-11 through single window (TANCA 2010) counseling.
Eligibility for admission:
Candidates who have passed in all the subjects in the qualifying degree with TANCET 2010 score or valid GATE – A 2010 score or valid GATE – B 2010 score with TANCET 2010 score.

Degree programmes is given in official website. Candidates who have appeared for final year / semester examinations in April / May 2010 may also apply.

Candidates should submit separate application for each category as given below.
(1) GATE Category (GATE-A 2010 score or GATE-B 2010 score with TANCET 2010 score)
(2) NON-GATE category – (TANCET 2010 score only)
(3) Sponsored category (with TANCET 2010 score) only for University Departments of Anna University Chennai.

What is GATE-A 2010 score and GATE-B 2010? what is the difference between them?
wat is meant by TANCET
if we dont have TANCENT score can we are eligible to apply for m.tech

Hello Sir,
I secured gate score of 583, in EE, and got a seat in trichy nit.. I dont know the scope of the course i got(Process control and instrumentation)….. So sir, I kindly request u to advise me about the course.. Is there any scope to slide within the department after joining the college??
Also I am looking for a better course in other good engineering colleges… I want to know about the EEE department in ANNA UNIVERSITY… Are all the courses offered there good or is the college specialised/popular in a particular department or course???
Kindly consider me through with ur sugestion sir… I am in a dilama of where to apply or to continue with what i have got… sugest me if there are any other good colleges…

gate A are those candidates who has valid gate 2010 score, gate B are those who has valid gate 2010 score and tancet score!

Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (tancet) for admission to MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M. Planning in Anna University…..
Without tancet score, you can apply but with valid gate score..under gate A category..!

Sir, I m Hitesh Arora from Uttarakhand. I applied for PG course in Anna university and my counselling is on 17 aug.
I have a train on 13 aug because it takes 3 days to reach there.
I want to ask that Letter IF i didn’t recieve my Counselling until then, can i come to counselling without letter
can i get the letter from college.
