WBUT PGET 2024 will be organised by the West Bengal University of Technology, The University conducted Post Graduate Entrance Test to admit candidates for admissions to M.Tech and M.Pharma Programmes offered by various colleges in the state.
Candidates who have qualified GATE/GPAT can also appear for the WBUT PGET 2024 exam. WBUT PGET is conducted in offline mode. The selection of the candidates will be done based on Interviews and performance in the WBUT PG entrance test.
WB PGET-2024 Admission will be through an entrance test (PGET-2024) in relevant subjects for all candidates including the GATE/GPAT qualified candidates. Due weightage will be given to valid GATE/GPAT scores while preparing the merit list. The admission test will be followed by counselling.
Applications In The Prescribed Format Are Invited From Eligible Indian Citizens For Admission To Post Graduate Courses In Engineering & Technology And Pharmacy In Makaut, Wb (In House) And Colleges Affiliated To Makaut, Wb (Pget-2024). Admission Will Be Through An Entrance Test (Pget-2024) In Relevant Subjects For All Candidates Including The Gate/Gpat Qualified Candidates. Due Weightage Will Be Given To Valid Gate/Gpat Score While Preparing The Merit List. The Admission Test Will Be Followed By Counseling, The Schedule And Venue For Which Will Be Advertised On The Website Along With The Merit List In Due Course Of Time.

WBUT PGET 2024 Eligibility
- Candidates should be Indian citizens with a relevant AICTE-approved Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture or appearing in the final year examination of such programs or equivalent.
- Candidates in the final year will be granted provisional admission and will have to submit their final mark -sheet before a prescribed deadline or as may be fixed by the PGET Board subsequently.
- Eligibility of sponsored candidates: In addition to the eligibility for PGET-2024, the sponsored candidates must have one year of experience in Polytechnic/Engineering College/ Industry. A certificate of sponsorship from the present employer must be submitted along with the application form.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD will be as per the state government rules.
- The decision of the PGET-2024 Committee will be final in case of any dispute regarding the whole admission process.

WBUT PGET 2024 Mode of Examination
The Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) will consist of a single paper in the computer-based test (CBT). It will be of 60/90 minutes duration. All candidates must appear on the entrance test.
For GATE/GPAT qualified candidates 50% of the GATE/GPAT score will be added. Previous academic results (Class 10th and 12th Marks) will be considered for breaking ties.

WBUT PGET 2024 Results
PGET 2024 results will be announced and will be available on the PGET Online Application Website. From the Candidate’s login after the declaration of the results, PGET Score Cards can be downloaded from the website.
WBUT PGET 2024 Counselling
WBUT PGET 2024 counselling will be conducted after the result will be announced. Candidates who secure the minimum cut-off will be shortlisted. Such students will have to register themselves online for the counselling session. Once all the choices are submitted, candidates will be allotted seats basis their preference and merit. Candidates who are satisfied with the seats allotted to them will have to confirm their admission by reporting at the allotted institute.
