Ranking engineering colleges in Karnataka or any other state is a difficult task and most of the blogs just copy and paste data from here and there misguiding students. I was looking for some kind of absolutely data on which we can say one college is ranked higher than others.
Recently, when I made a tool to combine KCET closing ranks from 2014, 2013,2012 and 2011 I realized this data is a gem to make list of top engineering colleges in Karnataka and Bangalore based on closing ranks. I considered four departments (CS, EC,EE,ME) closing ranks to make these rankings. This will also correlated with placement statistics in these colleges. Lets jump on ranking of engineering colleges in Bangalore. Do check the below tool for all cutoffs.
