Applications are invited for Post-graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET Karnataka 2010) for admission into Master of Engineering degree (M.E / M.Tech) and other master degree programs in Karnataka. A good opportunity for Non GATE students to appear for this test and try some of the state universities for Master degree (M.Tech) admissions in Karnataka. The test is only for Non-GATE students. Candidates with valid GATE Score will be given preference. PGCET for M.Tech admissions is conducted by VTU for admission to affiliated colleges.

Eligibility for appearing for PGECET:
Candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examinations in relevant engineering as specified in official notice with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/ years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters / years divided by the sum of the maximum marks). However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and CAT-1, marks shall not be less than 45 %.
Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and expecting the result within the last date as prescribed by the PGCET cell.
