Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility For Full-Time MBA

A candidate who has passed Recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility For Part-Time MBA

A candidate who has passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to Part-Time MBA courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates) In addition to this, a candidate after obtaining the degree must have worked for not less than three years as of 31st July 2024, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeks admission.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility For MCA

  • A candidate who has passed any recognized BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree OR
  • Passed B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A. with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University)
  • Obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch

  • A candidate with a valid GATE score.
  • A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years/semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. /M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I candidates. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch

  • A candidate who has passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)
  • In addition, this candidate after obtaining the complete degree must have worked for not less than three years as on 31st July 2024, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeks admission. However, the employer has to fill up the NOC duly signed by the competent authority.

GATE qualified candidates from only Engineering and Technology disciplines are eligible to take admission to Various M.Tech Programmes under VTU, Belgaum. Candidates with valid GATE scores are given first preference for admission to all M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses. Such candidates need not appear for PGCET-2024. However, they have to apply through online for admission. When GATE-qualified candidates are not available, seat allotment will be made to non-GATE candidates based on the merit list of PGCET-2024. Candidates have to make sure that they have valid qualifying marks in GATE in their respective subjects under the category to which they belong (GM/OBC/SC/ST/PD). If they do not have the qualifying marks, they have to appear for PGCET-2024 examinations. (OBC/SC/ST/PD is applicable to persons of Karnataka origin only)

  3. Click the ‘New User’ tab to create a user account
  4. Enter all personal details academic details, mobile number, email ID, name, gender, and other key details to complete the Karnataka PGCET application form
  5. Click on the ‘Save and Next button
  6. Candidates can select the mode of payment and pay the Karnataka PGCET registration fee based on their category selected while filling out the form

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Admit Card

  • The admit card for Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be made available on the official website of KEA.
  • Candidates who submit their application form successfully will be able to download their admit cards.
  • The admit card will consist of the important details related to the exam such as its center, date and time.
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit cards to the center on the day of the exam.
  • No admit card will be sent to the candidates via post/ courier and will only be available online.

Based on the performance of the candidates in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, the rank list will be prepared and published for admission to MBA / MCA / ME / M.Tech / M. Arch courses. Therefore, the candidates are advised to attend counseling only if they have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. (i.e., should have obtained 50% of aggregate marks of all the years of the Degree examination, 45% of aggregate marks of all the years in the Degree Examination in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka Candidates)
