IIT Roorkee M.Tech Admissions 2010

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee invites applications for admission to various departments for M.Tech. The departments are Alternate Hydro Energy Centre, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Hydrology, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engg., Paper Technology, Water Resources Development & Management, Chemistry, and Centre for Nanotechnology. Every department has several specializations. Please visit the below official link for more details.

Eligibility for M.Tech: B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc.(Engg.)/M.Sc. in respective or allied area with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR score; B.Tech. graduates from IITs with an overall minimum CGPA of 6.5. Candidates of General and OBC category must have secured at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale at the qualifying degree level; but for SC/ST/PD category candidates, this percentage is 55% or 5.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale. The aggregate marks awarded for the qualifying degree will be considered for eligibility.
Eligibility for a specialization within a Department may depend on the candidate’s choice of test paper in GATE.

    my engg aggregate is 55%(all 8 sem) but my degree percentage is 64%(7 +8 sem according to pune univ)
