Top AIEEE Colleges In India 2012

This post presents ranking of AIEEE colleges in for the year 2012 based on the last rank admitted to these colleges in first round or consecutive rounds. Why I am presenting rankings based on closing ranks and how what are its consequences? I discussed these in details in previous posts at college rankings.

The main importance goes to student quality, because no Indian Institute is great enough to be evaluated on research. Better students will bring better placements and a better future to the college. This is one of the reasons that IITs still rock. They go the best students since their inception and rest we all know, Alma matter, placements, funding and all.

Another reason to consider closing ranks are evaluation criteria is that it’s the only absolute entity that is accepted by everyone. If I say based on infrastructure or placements, no one have the data and our ranking would become junk like others. To avoid the conflict we considered closing ranks of three departments like computer science, electronics and electrical engineering.

Based on the above criteria the list of Top AIEEE colleges in 2012 is as follows.
