IIIT D & M Kanchipuram invites applications for admission to M.Des program in Communication Systems, Electronic Systems, Mechanical Systems. The admission are based on GATE performance. Students without GATE need to appear for Test and interview. The programs are focused on Design and manufacturing technology.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (IIITDM) was established in 2007 by the Government of India as a Centre of Excellence in the emerging areas of Design and Manufacturing. The institute offers a four semester M Des programmes offered in Communication Systems / Electronic Systems / Mechanical Systems are based on the credit system focusing on design and manufacturing.
Eligibility:
The eligible shortlisted candidates with a valid GATE (2014 / 2015) score will be called for the personal interview and those without a GATE score need to appear for test and interview.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/Government or
Candidates yet to appear or have appeared in the final examination for the qualifying degree specified in [i] and whose results are likely to be declared by July 2015, or
Associate Membership holders of the professional bodies for admission into their parent disciplines from the : The Institution of Engineers (India) (AMIE) or The Institution of Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering (AMIETE).
