  Congratulations for getting into IIIT A. 🙂
  
  GATE 2013 score will be accepted next year also, thats y they have given a score valid from 2014 March to 2015 March.
  
  2nd No official announcements have been made till date about the changes yet, and even if there are changes, it is likely to be a GATE prelims n mains.
  
  3rd Personally I dont think it will become subjective and even if it does never so soon.Lakhs of people write GATE, so it may not be practical to have subjective paper, ryt?

  Yes Jvd, any no. of persons with same marks get the same rank in GATE.
  
  Raunak, NIT admissions with 5833 are difficult. You do try interdisciplinary courses, I am not sure of that but you can surely try for MS programmes in IITs if U wish.

  A great suggestion indeed. Thanks Vijay. It is true that almost all (including those within top 100 or 200) are confused about the college and hence they even think of opting interdisciplinary and/or subjects apart from their cores ! It will be truly helpful. Thank you Zahid Sir for cosidering this. 🙂

  That’s true! Some got 3-4 or 7-10 marks more than calculated and some got the same way lesser! The key by IITB is quite different it seems. No other way but to go with it!

  The Score computed with the old formula, valid from 15 March 2013 till 14 March 2014, should be used to compare with the Scores obtained in GATE 2012, and
  The Score computed with the new formula, valid from 15 March 2014 till 14 March 2015 must be used to compare with Scores of GATE 2014.

  Ur 2012 score will thus be valid just like 2013 and compared…
