      lool its not some circumstances, its because of first choice mostly 🙂 yes there is plenty of opportunity out there in industry

      Just read classification algorithms before you go. learn about text classification and have some basic idea about machine learning. They dont expect a high level research at the beginning itself.
      Just learn and understand what are you talking in data mining and machine learning.

      A lot of opportunity in all fields of engineering is there. There are many top companies recruit mechanical engineers.

      ABB, TATA Motors, General Motors, Fiat, Reliance Industries, Reliance Power Ltd,
      Asoka Leyland, Mahindra and Mahindra to name few.

      I think you better refer to Electrical Machines By I.J Nagrath, D.P Kothari

      Thanks GATE CSE 😀 for the profiles. I would contact then for telephonic interview. Would like to post two or three solid interviews this time. Hope that will help lots of students 🙂

      Another view can be take up TCS and then try something like MS in some good university abroad ..

      Yes IIT Bombay will conduct GATE 2013 unless something strange happens 😉
