Master of Engineering Degree (M.Tech) in Central Universities

Central Universities are regarded as Institutes of primary importance. They are well known for their high standards in the fields of Art and Sciences. Usually their Master of Engineering Degree (ME) or Master of Technology Degree (M.Tech) programs are hidden under the reputation Arts courses.

Almost all Top Software companies visit them for campus recruitment. They have best faculty standards, who mainly concentrate on research. Mostly they offer Software Engineering Degrees, Computer Engineering degrees and some courses in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Environmental engineering.
Most of them conduct their own examination for admission into these courses. Therefore, it gives a good alternative and opportunity for students who could not appear GATE or were not able to qualify it because of some reason. The admission is based on all India test and is very completive.

    Hello Sir,

    I’ve done BE in CS&E and passed out in 2004. After that I got selected by TCS through campus. I’m still working with TCS as a Server Administrator.

    My work is good, but I’ve to travel min 3 hrs daily. I’ve 2 years old kid. Now I’m planning to do M Tech and join some engineering college as a lecturer. Lecturing is always my passion and I do conduct trainings at my work regularly.

    Mt questions are, Can I go ahead with doing M Tech? If so, which is better regular or correspondance? Whish is the good college in North Bangalore?

    Please advise me, thanks in advance.

    Sir,
    I will be completing my b.Tech in 2011 batch in ECE stream. I came to know about Masters program without GATE. I’ve some quaries regarding it-

    1.when the notification will appear for admission(for non-gate) in central university and iiit .
    2. i have given the gate exam but not able to qualify it.Will the score card will help in any way in getting admission in central university or anyway ?

    sir,my gate score was 412 and AIR is 8012 and percentile was 93 in gate2010.. I wrote gate2011 but according to key released my marks are 28.Am interested in doing M.tech in NIT.Is there any chance of getting admission in NIT this year?
