@hari you have a good rank and enough score to get into into IIT. dont get depressed just apply to all IITs , you are definitely going to get a call from IITs

look you have three choices at this point
1. you can join CTS but let me tell you, people working in such companies are now leaving their job and preparing for gate. i have many examples.
2. At this score you can get average NITs, there is almost no chance in IITs. but I suggest you to Apply Each new and old IITs in Mtech and MS program both. If your luck is good, you may get a call, dont miss it. and start applying as last date is preaching.
3. if you think that you can make it to top 100 rank next year go for it and prepare.

PS: I WOULD SUGGEST TO APPLY ALL RELEVANT PROGRAMS IN EACH IIT, IF YOU GET A CALL ALL THE BEST, IF YOU DONT, GO FOR COACHING PREPARATIONS AND TRY NEXT YEAR. 🙂

I am from Instrumentation Branch, I belongs to GEN category I have AIR 384 and SCORE 520, I am interested in pursuing Mtech in Biotechnology, Biomedical or bioinformetics department. is there any hope to get these departments in any IITS? can any one guide me whether scope of these departments is good or not ??
