      I am told by most of my friends that I wont get admission in IITs as TA with my AIR 220 (EE)… Gate score(711-old, 817-new). Need expert opinion.. Do I have any chance in IITs(B,M,D) or IISc… Help me please.. really depressed. 🙁

      Yes what Sachin said is right.. This year we should use score according to old formula. New formula is meant for 2014 admissions.

      @darshak : Do I have chance of getting into IIT (bombay, Madras, Delhi) with my score? if so what are the courses various IITs are known for (I heard microelectronics @ IITB is the best… so, like that… and for EEE stream)

      @Krishna : coming from ECE background, Microelectronics at IITB is the best choice for u I think 🙂

      @Darshak : I heard there is MTech course “Electronic systems Engineering” conducted by CEDT(Center for Electronic Design & Technology)… So along with MSc and ME how about applying for that too?? 🙂

      My Gate results are as Follows…
      AIR : 220
      GATE SCORE : 711 (old), 817 (new)
      Branch : EEE
      Sir I would like to know my chances of getting into IISc, IITB, IITM or IITD… need guidance on which courses are best(for giving preferences) and which IITs are best for them… Thanks a lot in advance.. Totally confused! please help 🙂
