        i am a btech(ece) planning to give gate in cse. But what if i cant get into IITs and NITs as most of the other colleges n univ. demand the graduation in the same field as m.tech ???? Isn’t gate score enough to apply???

        See the demand is based on competition you go through. IITs are very different for NITs and NITs are very different from other Univs and colleges. So demand is that way.

        Is it possible to get into IITs for M tech CSE having done ECE in my B tech?? Assuming i have an excellent gate score can i switch from ECE to CSE into IITs??
