IISC 2013 admission

    IISc have started their admission procedure for 2013-14. the admission is purely based on GATE score only for M.E. For M.Sc and M.tech, GATE score followed by interview.
    The last date for submission is 22/03/2013.

    is there any alternatives to get into IISC either for M.Tech/M.Sc/PG diploma/research fellow/any post graduation courses without gate score?

    i dont think that there are any way to get into iisc without any entrance test. If u r sponsered candidate then only u can get into it

    Any chance for EE AIR 220 (gate score 711 (old formula), 817 (new formula)) to get admission in IISc?? Thnks 🙂

    i got air 166 in gate13 ec.obc..
    can u pls suggest me a preference list for the courses..
    im thinking to give 1.electronic systems engeneering(cedt)
    2. mictroelectronics
    3.signal processing
    4.telecommunication engenering
    5.product design and engenering….
    is my list ok, considering my rank and fact that they call for interview based on our first preference…

    @Darshak : I heard there is MTech course “Electronic systems Engineering” conducted by CEDT(Center for Electronic Design & Technology)… So along with MSc and ME how about applying for that too?? 🙂

    @darshak : Do I have chance of getting into IIT (bombay, Madras, Delhi) with my score? if so what are the courses various IITs are known for (I heard microelectronics @ IITB is the best… so, like that… and for EEE stream)

    hi i am new to this forum.
    so my name is akshay. and i have air 66 in ec in gate 2013.
    i have received offer letter from IISC Bangalore for aerospace engineering.
    should i opt for it being from electronics?
    and one thing that is bothering me is the scope of this field after two years of completion of course. i spoke to IISC student council and they say avg package is 6-8 lakhs. which i am already getting today. so should i opt for aerospace?
