Last week a major IT recruiter did a campus drive in our college, in which, unfortunately I wasn’t lucky. It was compulsory for us to sit for the first company, but for the upcoming ones, its solely our choice. I am a GATE 2016 aspirant and I solely want to concentrate on that now. I want to go for Masters and have no plan to do job right now, so I’ve decided not to sit for placements anymore.
But my colleagues are advising me to sit for the next IT company and grab the offer this time just for the sake of it.
Am I doing the right thing?
