        I want to know top five places in India to go for PHD in Machine Learning/AI. Few of them are IISC, IITs ,ISI,Kolkata, Under Prof. Amit Konar in Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Are there any other options ? is PHD from any university is valued as same ?

        If my area is AI I would prefer ISI Kolkata. Other computer subjects I go with IITB, IITD, IITM, IITK and others based on their ranking.
