Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MN NIT) Allahabad invites applications for Master degree in Engineering (M.Tech) in various Engineering departments such as Applied Mechanics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Department and GIS Cell.
Eligibility for Admission:
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Master’s degree in appropriate discipline with marks/CPI not below 60%. The admission to M.Tech. programme will be based on the Percentile/Score secured by the candidate at the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). my another pbm is, having a “bc-b” background i have applied for gate in “oc”. this is happened as i was not having the idea about “obc” caste and their is no column’s for “bc-b”. So, now i got my “obc” certificate and i have qualified even with “oc ” qualifying mark. Now can i apply directly to m-tech colleges with my “obc” certificate?

I have 59% only in B Tech.I have gate score of 557 in EC. Whether I can apply to MNNIT Allahabad.In the official site, I found 60% generally. But at the EC&EE depts, I found B Tech requirement only. So I am confused. Please reply.
