TT3611: Textile Product Engineering Laboratory syllabus for HT 2021 regulation

Course Objectives:

To enable the students to test and analyse the given product that include identification of fibre, yarn, sourcing of raw materials and accessories, fabric specifications, method of production of same and costing

List of Experiments:

Reverse engineering of textile products with an emphasis on testing protocols – Two each for a student

Course Outcomes:

Upon the completion of this course the student will be able to

  1. Identify the materials used in the product
  2. Carryout confirmative tests to identify specifications of materials used
  3. Suggest the production process required to make the product
  4. Costing of product
