Course Objectives:
• To train the students in pre-treatment, dyeing, printing and testing of textile materials
List of Experiments:
- Dyeing of Cotton fabric/yarn using Direct dyes
- Dyeing of Cotton fabric/yarn using reactive dye
- Dyeing of Cotton fabric/yarn using Vat dye
- Dyeing of cotton fabric/yarn using Sulphur dyes
- Dyeing of silk fabric/yarn using acid dyes.
- Dyeing of wool fabric/yarn using metal complex dyes.
- Printing of Cotton fabric using Pigments by direct style using block/Screen
- Discharge style of Printing on cotton fabric dyed with reactive dyes.
- Printing of Cotton fabric by resist style (batik Printing) using cold brand reactive dye.
- Tie and dye (resist style)of cotton fabric using reactive/vat dye.
- Printing of polyester fabric with disperse dyes using direct style using block/screen
- Resist style of printing on cotton fabric using block/screen
Course Outcomes:
