TANCET has been scheduled to take place during the third week of June (tentative). The exam will be conducted for the purpose of admission in courses like MBA, MCA, and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan available in reputed and recognized private and Government-owned institutions in Tamil Nadu. TANCET Syllabus for MCA follows below
TANCET MCA Eligibility 2024
- Candidate should pass in BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree OR a pass in B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree Examination
(a) 10 + 2 + 3/4/5 years pattern (or)
(b) 10 + 3 years Diploma* + 3 years pattern (or)
(c) (i) 10 + 2 + AMIE** (or)
(ii) 10 + 3 Years Diploma* + AMIE**
- In the case of B.E./ B.Tech. / MCA / Diploma courses, in addition to the regular mode of study, Lateral Entry, and Part-time modes are also considered to be eligible.
- Candidates with B.E. / B.Tech. Degrees obtained through Distance mode / Week end courses are not eligible.
- Candidates with Degrees obtained without studying 10th, 12th Std. or 3 years Degree programme are not eligible.
- Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in UG Degree courses of Arts and Science Colleges are not eligible.
- The qualifying UG Degree awarded by Universities should conform to the minimum standards of instruction for
- Grant of the First Degree through Formal / Non-Formal / Distance (Wherever applicable) Education prescribed by UGC.
- Candidates who have already passed the above qualifying Degree course and candidates who are appearing for the final semester/year examination of the said qualifying degree course except certificates issued by professional bodies or societies such as AMIE
- There is no age limit for admission to MBA Degree Programme

TANCET MCA Application Form 2024
- Visit the official website of Anna University and click on the ‘Register’ tab
- Enter personal details and click on the ‘Submit’ button
- Now login credentials will be generated
- Re-login by using provided credentials
- The screen will display the application form for TANCET MCA 2023
- Enter the following details in the application form
- Pay the amount of application of Rs 500/- (For SC/ ST/ SCA- Rs 250/-) by online mode
TANCET MCA Selection and Admission Procedure 2024
- Selection is made on the basis of the marks secured in the TANCET 2024 Entrance Examination
- Candidates’ elder will be given preference (Date of Birth)
- Date of Online Registration with time
- Candidates should produce proof of pass in the Degree Examination during the certificate upload phase
- Candidates who do not produce proof of pass in the Degree Examination will not be considered for allotment
