TANCET entrance exam duration is 2 hours and it is conducted offline mode. It’s a paper pen-based test, You have to use a black ballpoint pen only to shade the appropriate answer.
TANCET Syllabus 2024 for MBA
The question paper has the following sections
- Section I: Identify the data critically and apply the data to business decisions from given typical business situations
- Section II: Answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension.
- Section III: solving mathematical problems at the graduate level including those learned in plus two or equivalent level.
- Section IV: Test on determining data sufficiency for answering specific questions using the given data and the knowledge of mathematics and use of day-to-day facts.
- Section V: Test the knowledge of written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation, etc.

TANCET Syllabus 2024 for MCA / MCA (Lateral Entry)
The question paper has the following sections
- Section I: Quantitative ability
- Section II: Analytical reasoning
- Section III: Logical reasoning
- Section IV: Computer awareness
A few questions may also be on verbal activity, basic science, etc.
