Chemical recovery methods – Polymer flooding – Surfactant flooding – Alkaline flooding -Hydrocarbon or Gas injection – Carbon dioxide (CO2) flooding – Nitrogen and flue gas flooding -Thermal recovery methods – fire flooding – steam flooding

Mechanism of surfactant/polymer flooding – Mechanism of alkaline flooding – Mechanism of hydrocarbon miscible flooding – Mechanism of CO2 flooding – Mechanism of nitrogen and flue gas flooding – Mechanism of steam flooding.
