Introduction to AC circuits – waveforms and RMS value – power and power factor, single phase and three-phase balanced circuits – Three phase loads – housing wiring, industrial wiring, materials of wiring

Electrical Machines
Principles of operation and characteristics of ; DC machines, Transformers (single and three phase ) ,Synchronous machines , three phase and single phase induction motors.
