Course Outcome:

Upon completion of theory course, the student shall have the knowledge on

  1. Necessity of pre-treatments in dyeing process and principle of dyeing of different materials
  2. Methods, styles and different types of printing
  3. Fundamentals of colour science and assessment of coloured goods
  4. Finishes used for textile and assessment of finishes
  5. Eco friendly, banned dyes and their evaluation techniques
  6. Upon completion of practical course, the students can dye, print the textile material and measure colour and fastness properties
