FUNDAMENTALS OF COMPOUNDING 9 Compounding-Selection of polymers and compounding-ingredients-general objectives- Merits and demerits of additives in polymer matrices. Mixing and mixing equipments. Compounding by batch mixer-High speed mixer-Two roll mill – Banbury Mixer – Ribbon blender – Planetary mixers.
