DIE DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE 9
Introduction to Die Design – Melt Behaviour – Die Land, Slit, Rod, Tear Drop- Manifold and Die – Co extrusion Dies – Special Dies – Die Design – Construction Materials – Maintenance – Troubleshooting.

Unit V

SECONDARY OPERATIONS 9
Introduction to secondary operations – Inline operations – Offline operations – Labelling – Printing – Thermoplastic Extrusion Materials- Thermosetting Extrusions.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to
