Unit II
CONTROLCHARTS Chance and assignable causes of process variation, statistical basis of the control chart, control charts for variables- X , R and S charts, attribute control charts – p, np, c and u- Construction and application.

STATISTICALPROCESS CONTROL Process stability, process capability analysis using a Histogram or probability plots and control chart.Gauge capability studies,setting specification limits.
Unit V
ACCEPTANCESAMPLING The acceptance sampling fundamental, OC curve, sampling plans for attributes, simple, double, multiple and sequential, sampling plans for variables,MIL-STD-105DandMIL-STD-414E&IS2500 standards.
