MOS TRANSISTOR PRINCIPLES 9 MOS logic families (NMOS and CMOS), Ideal and Non Ideal IV Characteristics, CMOS devices. MOS(FET) Transistor DC transfer Characteristics ,small signal analysis of MOSFET.

SEQUENTIAL LOGIC CIRCUITS AND CLOCKING STRATEGIES 9 Static Latches and Registers, Dynamic Latches and Registers, Pipelines, Timing classification of Digital Systems, Synchronous Design, Self-Timed Circuit Design .

DESIGN OF ARITHMETIC BUILDING BLOCKS 9 Arithmetic Building Blocks: Data Paths, Adders-Ripple Carry Adder, Carry-Bypass Adder, Carry Select Adder, Carry-Look Ahead Adder, Multipliers, Barrel Shifter, power and speed tradeoffs.
